What We Found
We ran a full SEMrush competitive analysis and live AI citation test across all major platforms. The findings paint a clear picture:
- Hytera is ranked 180,996 in the UK — behind Kenwood (41,426), Motorola (45,971), and Icom (66,271). A single-person radio shop (radio-solutions.co.uk) gets 6x more organic traffic.
- 75% of traffic is brand terms — people who already know Hytera. Zero rankings for core category terms like “DMR radio”, “two way radio”, “ATEX radio”.
- ~15% of traffic comes from SPAM keywords — the download center page appears compromised, ranking for completely unrelated adult content terms. Needs immediate investigation.
